When the video of the Indian family stealing things from a hotel in Bali went viral, all we did was circulate it and laughed. Most of us do such things when we visit some hotel or restaurant which has become a habit of ours, resulting to shame for the nation at large.
When the family was caught, not only they but the word 'India' was also getting ashamed. The way how they stealed the things, talked with the hotel authorities represented our nation worldwide. It might be a small matter of laughter or fun but at the same time many might have felt shameful for their nation.
Don't know what leads us to such act but it becomes a part of our lifestyle and we can't resist when we visit such place whether it's domestic or international. We need to change ourselves first and inculcate the same into our upcoming generation to bring a change, minor in action but major at global level.
As per my opinion, it wasn't the right thing what family did obviously. Moreover they were trying to hide it by some bribe offering or settling it down in some other possible ways which wasn't right even. Accepting the fault and apologizing for the same is what should have been done immediately rather than realizing it later.
Moreover they showed the power of money by mentioning that we will pay you for that which we usually do in India, the rich people's thing to be frank.
We need to think being this boundary of limitations and analyse that it's not just about us, it's about the whole nation's name when you are indulged into an activity like this or any other illegal task force.
