6 Ballygunge Place is located exactly there - 6 Ballygunge. It's a casual dining place with Bengali as well as Bangladeshi cuisine and seafood. Their signature dishes include Gondhoraj Chicken, Dab Chingri, Bhetki Patoriz Doi Illish, Kosha Mangsho, and vegetarian ones like Doi Potol, Bati Chocchori and Shuktoni. Their drinks menu pays homage to Bengal's cultural traditions with names like Apu Durga, Noti Binodini and Debi Choudhurani among others.

They also offer catering services and have expanded their franchise to include several other formats that serve Bengali and other Asian food. These include a Thali restaurant, another one for just Bengali snacks, a pan Asian one and even a Chinese restaurant. The Funny:
Punam Sinha on Zomato said she loved the Bengali buffet which she described as pure Bengali food with 19 items. She then promptly goes on to list all 19 items. 

The Not so Funny:
Rudra Guha says in Zomato, "Worst food. I fell sick. I will file a lawsuit if possible." Pam also says on the same app that she had ordered for and paid for jumbo prawns but the order served was medium prawns.
